MAIN INGREDIENT

Clean and prepare the area to be treated.

Protect sensitive areas. (Apply some cottons on the eyes).

Apply as many layers of product as necessary according to the pathology and the patient to be treated.

Leave on exposure between 10 and 15 minutes or as long as the patient decides.

PUREGLYCOPEEL

In recent decades, glycolic acid has become one of the most popular cosmetic raw materials in the world. Thanks to its high penetration power into the skin and its low molecular weight, it has been used in anti-aging, exfoliating, bleaching, anti-acne formulations, masculine lines and a long etc.

However, just as its use is so extensive, the discussion is also extensive about whether it should be used in pure acid form, with the risk of causing irritation, even burns, or whether it should be used buffered, with the consequent loss of efficacy.

TECHNOLOGY

Glycolic acid is a natural acid, thought for cosmetic use, from sugar cane, but also extracted from beets, grapes or other fruits where it is naturally present. It is part of the so-called alpha-hydroxy acids (AHA), being the most used in cosmetics due to its low molecular weight compared to others such as lactic acid. It has the ability to dissolve the bonds that exist between the dead cells of the horny layer of the skin, accelerating their elimination and stimulating the cycle of cell renewal of the epidermis, in addition to helping the active ingredients penetrate into the deeper layers of the exfoliated skin.

Glycolic acid acts favorably on numerous skin problems such as acne, seborrheic dermatitis, aging, stretch marks, skin blemishes, hyperkeratosis (thickening of the most superficial layer of the skin), xerosis (dry skin and peeling), etc.
